Feeling Our Feelings

The hardest part of healing is also the messiest part: the part where you have to allow yourself to FEEL. But how do you do that when your feelings scare you and send you into panic mode, or you judge them as being bad so you cut them off entirely? And, when you do let them up, you find yourself stuck in a spin cycle of your thoughts and emotions, spending a ton of energy and exhausting yourself while feeling like you're not getting anywhere.

What if there was a gentle process to help you sit with your emotions in a safe and loving way? One that helps you sort through your feelings in a way that makes them less scary and intense? Where you feel held and supported, allowing  you to bring more clarity and peace into your life?

You'll learn how to face them fearlessly, and by doing so, uncover the limiting beliefs that are feeding into those feelings and makes them so scary and painful. You'll get to the truth and harness your intent to reframe your situation in a new way - one that brings you peace and clears the way for release. After just one session you will:

  

  • Feel more at ease with your emotion(s), setting the stage for release
     

  • Have more clarity around the situation and what you’re feeling so you can focus on what you need to move forward

Losing the Connection

One of the biggest casualties of a life full of changes and upheavals is our connection with our sense of self. You become disconnected from your center and no longer operating from who you truly are on the inside. Instead, you are operating from a place of fear and scarcity; easily overwhelmed, unable to relax and simply be. You go to bed exhausted, wondering where the day went, and struggle to get a good night’s sleep.

This is such an exhausting place to be! In the morning you summon all your strength, shoving down the exhaustion and anxiety just so you can function — and perpetuate the cycle.

Breaking the Cycle

We all have a place of calm stillness inside us called our intuitive heart -- or heart center -- the place of our authentic self. We carry it with us always and it is the source of our connection to self. By developing the practices that support connecting to your intuitive heart and coming home to our heart center, we can begin to reset our energetic body and no longer struggle to be present. Coming "home" becomes our sanctuary.

How often do you have a thought, or desire that quickly turns into a dragged out discussion with yourself about whether or not it's what you actually want to do? When your boundaries are being pushed against, do you end up in a huge argument with the committee in your head over whether or not you should say anything? When there is a big decision to make, do you make yourself miserable by worrying about what other people will think or what you think you're "supposed to do"?

Losing Right-Relationship with Yourself

As women, we have much more external freedom than even our grandmothers had: the freedom to work, to choose who we love, even vote.  At the same time, we are not free on the inside. We still compare ourselves, judge ourselves, and hold ourselves up to some imaginary ideal of who we think we're supposed to be. Our choices have become based on external factors and our power is firmly placed outside of us. We've come to believe we should be someone else, our needs were not as important as the needs of others, and our feelings were not valid. We have stepped out of right-relationship with our authenticity and our integrity.
